Alketa Delishaj is a contemporary art artist with an innate passion for painting, photography and design. Her minimalist and intentional artistic style is characterised by subjective paintings that reveal layers of the canvas to celebrate fluid forms in their purity.
Her art is inspired by the first female divers in the history of diving at the Olympic Games from 1920 to the present day. Alketa loves to explore the power of water and the healing properties it contains, which is reflected in many of her works.
Her ability to create works that reflect feminine strength and beauty is one of the hallmarks of her work, and her passion for telling a century-old story of the plunge through her art makes Alketa one of the most influential contemporary artists of her time.
Alketa was born and raised in Albania, but currently lives and works in Italy. Her artistic career has been marked by numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad, including participation in exhibition projects in Germany, Turkey, the Netherlands, Kosovo, New York and London. Alketa has collaborated with several international galleries and institutions.
For Alketa, artistic confrontation is a fundamental element of her work. In fact, she prefers all forms of collaboration as an opportunity to discuss and learn, with the aim of developing her artistic and contemporary research.
Alketa can be considered one of the most emerging voices in contemporary art. Her works, which range from painting to photography, are characterised by a focus on the theme of identity and the complexity of the contemporary world.
The Albanian artist uses photography as the basis for her work, but at the same time tries to overcome the limits of this technique, inserting elements that go beyond the reality depicted in the image. In addition to this, her artistic research also extends to the social and cultural issues of our time.
Alketa seeks to raise public awareness by using art as a means of communication and reflection.

My story
I’m happy to share with you my story of how I became an artist. I understand that every story is different, but I hope that my experience can inspire and motivate those looking to pursue their passion and achieve their goals.
Since I was a child, I have always loved art and creativity. I spent hours drawing and painting, experimenting with different colours, shapes and techniques. It wasn’t until I reached adulthood that I decided to seriously pursue a career as an artist.
“My first step was attending painting and drawing courses, where I learned the fundamental techniques and began to develop my personal style. Initially I attended local art exhibitions to showcase my work and meet other artists and professionals in the field”
The most important aspect of my success has been consistent effort and perseverance. I have worked hard to perfect my techniques and create original and meaningful works of art. I spent entire days in the studio painting, experimenting and testing my artistic skills.
Furthermore, I have invested a lot of resources in marketing and advertising to make my work known to the public. I created a website, a social media profile and attended international art fairs and exhibitions to showcase my work and meet new clients.
Success came gradually, but it was a combination of factors: the quality of my work, constant commitment and attention to marketing and promoting my brand as an artist. My works have been exhibited in national and international galleries and private collections, and I have been lucky enough to collaborate with prestigious companies such as the Belmond Group, international luxury leader, Hservizi S.P.A etc…
